I've never been a runner, but have always wanted to be one. Being asthmatic has always prevented me from picking up a running program... until now.
I am definitely starting the Couch to 5K (C25K) program as soon as my cough resolves (it's noticeably better today, but I don't want to push myself too hard until I'm fully well).
Since I am starting to feel better, I'm planning on initiating some light workouts this weekend. I think I'll work on some of my Pilates tapes (??? -- is that even the correct term anymore?) for a great deep-muscle workout, (hopefully) without putting to much strain on my sickly lungs.
P.S. -- Can I just say how thankful I am for Lean Cuisine? Ideally, I want to be prepping fresh, clean, home-cooked meals for myself to eat throughout the day... but when that's just not possible, it's nice to have a calorie-controlled and sensible lunch alternative. Mmmm mmmm good! Oh wait... wrong jingle. Whoops.
